Policy consultancy opportunity

APPG inquiry on the SDGs and Covid-19

The APPG on the SDGs has launched a short inquiry into the impact of Covid-19 on the achievement of the SDGs. The inquiry will include a call for written submissions, a small number of focus groups with key stakeholders at least one day of oral evidence. It will end with a report and recommendations in advance of the UN General Assembly.

We are seeking to engage a policy consultant to support the inquiry and draft the report and recommendations, in coordination with the APPG and Bond, from early July to mid-September.

Inquiry objectives

  • To raise awareness of the SDGs in parliament and more widely and to convey their urgency with only ten years to go until 2030.

  • To engage a wide range of stakeholders on the topics of the SDGs and Covid-19.

  • To create impactful recommendations to help the UK to meet its commitments (with an emphasis on global commitments) to the SDGs in the post-Covid-19 period.
