In conversation with Amina Mohammed

We are delighted to announce that on Tuesday 7 July Amina Mohammed, United Nations Deputy Secretary-General and Chair of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group, will address the APPG.

Ms Mohammed led the process that resulted in global agreement around the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the creation of the Sustainable Development Goals. She will provide insightful analysis of the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the achievement of the Goals, as well as the UK’s overall commitment to the Global Goals agenda.

This event is also an opportunity to hear from the Deputy Secretary-General about plans for the virtual UN General Assembly in September and the ‘decade of action’.
