APPG hosts joint Parliamentary roundtable on Nutrition for Growth with the French Special Envoy on N4G, Brieuc Pont

For our final APPG event of the year, the APPG for the UN Global Goals co-hosted a joint Parliamentary roundtable with the APPG on Nutrition, with the French Special Envoy for Nutrition for Growth, Brieuc Pont.

M. Pont and his team were in London for meetings in the run-up to the Nutrition for Growth Summit taking place in Paris in 2025, and met with the APPGs as part of their Parliamentary engagement.

This was an opportunity for British Parliamentarians to learn more about the summit, and how the UK can play its role before, during, and after the summit to support global commitments towards nutrition. They discussed how French and British Parliamentarians can work together to support this agenda, and how M. Pont sees the role of this summit in generating financial and political commitments towards the goal of global nutrition.
