Monday 22 March 14:45-16:00 GMT (registration required)

Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16 focuses on promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, providing access to justice for all and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. SDG-16 explicitly recognises the importance and role of effective political institutions and processes to achieve development outcomes, sustainable peace and stability.

The APPG will be joined by HE Mr Simon Martin, CMG, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco and speakers from the British Embassy Rabat’s Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) funded projects.

Specifically, these projects are the TASHAROC regionalisation project, implemented by DAI (Development Alternatives Inc.), and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD)’s Open and Inclusive Democratic Institutions programme.
